Is James Blunt retiring from music industry?

On the 20th October of 2012, Blunt stated "To be Blunt, it's time for me to retire." He has sold 18 million albums worldwide and has been playing for overcrowded audiences during a year-long world tour, but James Blunt has revealed he plans to retire from the music industry.
He quits the music industry in order to spend idyllic days on his yacht in Ibiza.
"I just want to take some time out for myself", James told us at the relaunch of nightclub Barbarella in Fulham, West London. 
He added: "I haven't got any plans to do more songwriting. I have been chilling out since I finished my world tour and I've spent a lot of time in Ibiza, where I have a villa." 
He really enjoyed his first summer off in seven years with his girlfriend Sofia Wellesley.
Blunt said he enjoys the stunning scenery on the Spanish island, but at his 38 he is not too old to hit the nightclubs with his girlfriend, Sofia.
He added: "Sofia and I had a great time hanging out with friends on my yacht but we partied as well."
Also: "I do like a good night out and that is why it’s great fun to hang out at Barbarella. London needs more nightclubs like this."

James Blunt became well-known with his ballad "You’re Beautiful", which stayed at the top of the UK charts for five weeks. His debut album, "Back To Bedlam", sold 6 million copies. He has sold 18 million albums.He is the holder of two Brit Awards and received five Grammy nominations.

After a series of dates around the globe, Blunt has put down his guitar and may not pick it up again, reports "The Mail" on Sunday.
